Leighton Buzzard Hockey Club were delighted to be shortlisted for the Dunstable and Houghton Regis sports award 2017 and our President Peter Crisp attended the evening in the hope that the Club may come away with a mention. Much to his delight and ours, we were the actually winners of the sports category.

For a Club with a thriving junior section and 8 senior teams playing each week it was another proud moment. Club Chair Clare Fitzboydon said, "It was an honour to get nominated but to come away as winners was a remarkable achievement. So many individuals within the Club work hard to ensure that we can provide hockey for all so this is a tribute to all their dedication and hard work."
