On Sunday Clare Fitzboydon, (Chair) met with two of the Leighton Linslade Councillors who were part of the committee that agreed to award the Club over £12,000 as part of their Youth Promise Grant.

Councillor Ewan Wallace ( Leader of the Council) and Councillor Stephen Cotter ( Chair of Culture & Economics committee) congratulated the Club on such an inspiring application that will help develop opportunities in six local schools and introduce them to the Club, based at Vandyke School, in the hope that they will become future members of the Club.

Four current junior players, who had just completed the Park Run, were available to pose for the camera. Zachary and Sebastian Fitzboydon and Ellie and Sam Smith.
