Leighton knew they were going to be up against it, before the game started,, and we wasn't wrong. From the word go, Reading were stringing passes together and skilfully passing players, and it wasn't long before they scored. Reading continued to attack, wave after wave, and goal after goal, by halftime it was 6-0...
Second half began same as the first, Reading continuing to score, but Leighton started to defend a little better, and started to counter-attack. a well worked goal from the right-hand side of the pitch, crossed in from Jackson to find Matt Rust, who slotted it away, but Reading continued to attack and score goals, and made it 11. One last push from Leighton ,see some good passes put together down the middle, where Simon Childs squeezed a pass through to Rust, who scores his second.
Man of the match Jim Galloway, for his great goalkeeping.
