Leighton started the game with another different team lineout. Once again Leighton started slow out the blocks, giving a short corner early on, which Staines profited from. Leighton started stringing some good passes together and attacked well, only to give the ball away, giving Staines a good counter-attack, which they scored from. 2-0 down, Leighton knew they had to push forward to try to get a something out of the game, with one last push of the half, Leighton managed to get a short corner, where Simon Childs scored.
Second half began, Staines started strongly once again. After a lot of end to end hockey, Staines made a breakthrough, making it 3-1. Leighton carried on pushing forward, making a lot of chances, but to no avail. Game finishes 3-1 and player of the match was Will Riley.
