After a confidence boosting victory against their local rivals last week Leighton travelled to face Aylesbury.
Unfortunately a must changed Leighton side lack cohesion and fell behind conceding 3 goals in quick succession.
Half time arrived and after some serious words at half time Leighton set about getting back into the game. With much improved play Leighton were rewarded with a goal from David Jackson. Once the goal went in the game descended into a tetchy affair which Leighton dominated for spells. Unfortunately in search of more goals Leighton were hit on the counter twice in succession. Leighton managed to score once again with David Jackson the scorer once more but a frustrating day was compounded when David Wavish was sent off seeing a yellow card. The game ended in a disappointing fashion for Leighton.
