OMT 3s 2-0 LB 2s

A hard fought game in difficult conditions lead to a bitter 2-0 defeat to a well spirited OMT. Both teams pressed for possession from the off set. It took a brilliant pass into the D to be met by an opponent to deflect it past a helpless Jim in goal. As the game continued chances came few and far between for both sides with the possession evenly split between the sides. The second half started in a similar fashion to the first with both teams sharing the possession. Some spirited defending and keeping from LB kept the score at 1-0 with chances coming at the right end for LB but going agonisingly wide. It took till the last 2 minutes and a well worked penalty corner to increase the lead and seal the victory.
