LB faced a West Hampstead team in good form, winning all of their games so far. Both teams battled hard in an end to end game, both giving everything to get the lead. Leighton had some good play down the right side, where Jackson run it up the wing and flicked the ball into Barnett's path, where his deflection was only just saved by the oppositions goal keeper. West Hampstead also had their fair share of shots, only to be denied by Galloway diving at the oppositions feet as soon as they come near his goal.
Second half began in the same manner, with both teams looking equal, but Leighton knew they had to push harder to try and get their first win, but with that the opposition found gaps, where they found their first goal, flicking it over the keeper. Leighton continued to push, trying to get back in the game, with some great play from LBs player of the match Josh Gale, running West Hampstead defence ragged and also getting back to defend. West Hampstead continued with their quick counterattacks, where they scored three more goals, one from a quality short corner flick into the top corner. Leighton didn't give up and continued to push for a consolation goal in the dying minutes, and came very close with a good short corner routine, where Jackson came close to finding the bottom corner, but the keeper pushed it back out to him where he had another go only to the post, rebounding back out to Gale, where he managed to get it on his reverse and the shot away, which flew past the stunned keeper, only to hit the crossbar and fly out. Game finished 4-0 in a game which was well fought. Leighton now sit bottom of the table, still seeking their first win.
