South Berkshire 4s v LB men's 2s

Buzzard travelled away to try and carry on their continued good form, straight from the off as it took the game to new position, putting them under a lot of pressure but the opposition weren't having any of it, by putting in some hard tackles. LB continued to push forward and got into Berks D but just couldn't find that final touch. The opposition was strong and very quick on the counter, where they found their first goal by a mistake from LB defender, 1-0 down and halftime comes.
After the team talk Leighton seemed to start stringing some great team plays together, cutting Berks to pieces, with David Canty dashing forward past 3 players, passing to Will Jenkinson, then to David Jackson, who then squared it back to Jenkinson, who passed to David Hooker, who runs to the byline into the d and cuts it back to Jackson, who smashes towards goal only for it to get a deflection off a Berks stick straight into the path of Joshua Farnfield, who smashes it into the back of the net with a half volley. 1-1 and Buzzard started to believe they could win the game, LB pressed forward once again with Jackson receiving the ball then spun round with the ball and injured his ankle, Jackson was out the game, leaving Craig Westley up top. Berks seem to step it up another gear and press really high, where they found their second goal. 2-1 down and straight from the restart Westley got everyone to go forward, and even nearly won a short corner near the end, by being blatantly pushed off the ball, but the umpires weren't having any of it. Game finished 2-1 but LB definitely deserved a point from the game, Buzzard are home next week against Oxford 5s.
