Match Preview

Hi Guys. Looking forward to getting started this season - with a big Thank You to Pete Gale for a) all that he has done in Captaining us so brilliantly these past three seasons, and b) all the help he has given me - and continues to give - whilst I try and learn the ropes of being Captain.
So this Saturday is a pre-season friendly against St Albans. It will be a great chance for us to get together again to remember what we are doing, fit everyone into the side, welcome newcomers and start to get ready to feel like a match ready squad again.
We should expect that we may not all be match fit, and we may well be a bit rusty. If this is you, PLEASE don't worry, especially if you new to us or are a returner to the game. All will be forgiven!!
Hopefully we'll have a full squad, so that we can use the bench effectively, and maybe try out various options on the pitch.
Most importantly, let's get going and have some fun.
Please let us have your confirmation of playing as early as possible - I'm unlikely to be as on the ball as Pete was ....!!
