Leighton Buzzard vs Welwyn Garden City

The ladies 2s were determined to not let the results if the last few games dampen their spirits.
They attacked Welwyn from the first whistle to the last whistle.
A well executed short corner in the first half saw Katie Jackson put Leighton into the lead.
Despite Welwyn's best efforts to break the team down, excellent distribution from Ellen Baldwin and Emma Evans meant Leighton were attacking from the back.
The middle was superbly controlled by Anna Carter, with great runs and fantastic passing between Mel Merola, Tara Galloway, Hannah B and Lucie Webster.
The forwards Sharon Avola, Emily Smith, Nell MB, and KJ found space and kept the pressure on the Welwyn defence.
Super subs, Llinos Coleman and Emma Shuttle provided excellent support across the middle meaning the pressure remained high.
