Leighton Buzzard Fledglings vs Berkhampsted & Hemel 4s

Leighton started the first half brightly and were soon one up when Megan Campbell slotted the ball past the Berko and Hemel keeper. It wasn't long before player of the match Emily Heal nearly doubled the league forcing a fine save from the Hemel Keeper. With the first half drawing to a close the home side were able to find an equaliser heading into the break.

The second half was played in a high tempo by both sides unfortunately Leighton were the victims of a fast counter attack which put the home side out in front. From here Leighton struggled to get themselves back in the game in an attacking way. Some excellent defending from Debbie Knights and goal keeper Alex Trumper prevented Hemel and Berko from adding to their tally.
