MISSION STATEMENT FOR LEIGHTON BUZZARD HOCKEY CLUB

The mission for Leighton Buzzard Hockey Club is to:

• promote the Olympic sport of hockey and inspire the people who live in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding areas to become interested and knowledgeable in the playing and supporting of hockey

VISION FOR LEIGHTON BUZZARD HOCKEY CLUB

The vision for Leighton Buzzard Hockey Club is to:

• provide the opportunity for all aspiring hockey players, who live in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding areas, to take up the sport and in doing so securing the ongoing future of the club and the wider “hockey family”

• focus on competitive and social hockey, catering for all abilities and ages

• be a friendly and social organisation where people know each other and enjoy their membership

• support the desire for all members, parents and volunteers to participate to the best of their ability, through playing, coaching, umpiring and supporting
