Deserved 3 points!

Ladies 1’s started strong from the first whistle, playing at our home ground at Vandyke Upper School. We had lots of quick passes through the middle and put pressure on their defence early. We had a few shots saved by a good Harpenden keeper but finally Kirsty Scrivener put one in before the end of the 1st half.
The second half saw lots of attacking play with young forwards Riley Maze Brown and Sadie Carrington creating lots of space with good runs up front. The hard work and effort paid off as we got or second goal scored by sweeper Clare Fitzboydon - her first open play goal!
Final score 2-0 securing us a well deserved 3 points.
