-Paddy will bring a wealth of knowledge to the club having previously coached in clubs across the midlands league and led integrating initiatives set by England Hockey.

-Feedback received from the trial session was extremely encouraging and positive. The group were engaged throughout and enjoyed the session.

-Paddy is just as keen to ensure our junior players are looked after and developed throughout the coming seasons. Our want to nurture the young talent we have at the club is matched with Paddy’s enthusiasm to grow and bring players up the teams into senior hockey.

-Our ladies first team had a successful season in their new league and with the support of Paddy joining them for both home and away matches their game management will be fully supported.

-Our ladies second team gained promotion last season winning the league undefeated which was an incredible achievement – Paddy will be able to support this promotion and ensure the team have continued support in order to remain within their new league going up against new opposition, working closely with the L2's new coach, David Fry.

-Paddy is also going to support our men's section this season, leading the Mens 1's & 2's training – which will bring consistency and alignment for the whole club. A really exciting prospect for the club to have a consistent coach and helping to develop all players.

-Development opportunities for our other brilliant coaches will be supported with Paddy taking the leading role.

To be able to run both Mens and Ladies training we have had to Shuffle training nights slightly. L1's & L2's will continue on a Tuesday. Club training will move to Wednesday. and Mens 1's and 2's will move to Thursday. We appreciated this will not be ideal for everyone however the club cannot turn down the opportunity to have Paddy work across the whole club as this will have far reaching and lasting benefits!
