Leighton Buzzard Men's 1's travelled to Staines to play against their 3rd team.
Leighton were quick to go down 1-0 from some loose passing from Leighton. But Leighton were quick to recover with some fluid passing from the midfield. Ben Smith managed to score off a deflection from the Staines keeper.
Staines took the lead again in the second half from a goal line scramble. Leighton equalised with a great pass from man of the match Will Giltrow finding Matt Franklin who passed onto David Fry in the opposition D he chipped the keeper on his reverse stick to put the score at 2-2. Leighton showing some smart counter attacking play Fry turned provider and managed to get the ball to Tommy Lakins who effortlessly put Leighton back in to the lead with a great strike to the top right corner which left the Staines keeper in awe.
However Staines managed to equalise in the last play of the game with a short corner.
Leighton remain undefeated, with hopes to get back to winning ways against Henley next week.
