Leighton Buzzard were at home against a Henley side high up the table.
Leighton started well in the first half putting a few good crisp moves down the wings, Matt Franklin, Dave Fry and Mark Stephenson combined well to win a penalty corner which was tucked away by Mark Stephenson with an accurate low finish. Leighton then started to bow to the pressure placed upon them from Henley's creative attacking style, Jack Gorton playing a major role in clearing up anything loose around the Leighton D. But eventually pressure told when Henley managed to get in the D and squeeze a finish past Leighton Keeper Stu McDonald.
In the second half Henley continued to take the game to a struggling Leighton Buzzard side, with Leighton pinned back Henley scored the put the visitors 2-1 ahead. Leighton rallied with man of the match Dan Lambert dominating the right wing and started to press Henley, Tommy Lakins and Tristan Hardy in the final minutes winning a penalty corner which resulted in a last minute penalty for the Buzzards Nick Marshall stepped up and scored to give Leighton a 2-2 draw.
