Deserved win for Men's 3s

Leighton Buzzard (5) v Eastcote (2)
This weekend saw Leighton Buzzard host in a vital league fixture after the disappointment of defeat the previous week. Leighton started strongly and were soon rewarded with a well worked goal. Despite the goal Leighton got pegged back and found themselves conceding a penalty flick. Fortunately Jim Galloway saved the flick and Leighton went into the half with a 1-0 lead.
The second half started with Leighton quick out of the blocks and they were soon rewarded with a Dan Wright goal. That was the impetus Leighton need and 3 more goals went in without reply. Dan Wright scored 4 and Benji got the remaining goal. Leighton played some fantastic hockey and deserved their lead. Unfortunately Ollie Reid received a green card and was sent off. With Leighton down to 10 men Eastcote scored two quick fire goals.
More action was to follow when Dan Wright and an Eastcote player were sent off. The final whistle blew with Leighton deserved winners.
