Ladies 1st XI beat Saffron Walden 3's - 5-0

Leighton Buzzard Ladies 1s started off the game really well considering the early start! Saffron Walden battled hard but couldn't keep Leighton's first goal out which was scored by Gabbie Avola.

After half time Leighton were only ahead by 1-0, which meant the game could have gone either way. Leighton's goal keeper Lisa Smith made some critical saves. Leighton continued to put pressure on Saffron Walden which followed another goal by Sarah Plummer. Leighton were awarded with a short corner, which Natalie Walter powered into the bottom corner. Towards the end of the game the opposition started to tire and Gabbie Avola managed to get past another 2 goals making the final score line 5-0.
