Ladies 1st XI vs West Herts 3's

Leighton Buzzard Ladies 1st XI didn't start the match particularly well this week. The warm up was a bit sloppy and unfortunately this carried forward into the match.

West Herts were tough and physical which put Leighton Buzzard on the back foot. The players stuck with it though and we were all aware that our speed of passing needed to improve in order to make a difference to the game.

The start of the second half was much improved. The players passed the ball with intensity and broke through West Herts defence on a number of occasions.

Hollie Joyce was very unlucky with her shot on goal and the team did well to keep giving the opposition something to think about.

Lisa Smith saved a number of shots but unfortunately West Herts broke through and scored.

Final score 1-0 to West Herts 3's
