Defeat at home

Leighton Buzzard Ladies 1s were at home to West Herts, it was a very tight first half with Leighton having the edge creating many chances with several short corners but were unable to convert them. Both teams finished the first half with good passing and good defending. Second half was a lot more equal with a strong play from both sides, Leighton again had many shots but could not get it past the West Herts goal keeper. Both teams we fighting hard but unfortunately for Leighton we conceded a goal on a defensive short corner. Leighton came close to scoring but it finished 1-0 to West Herts. Leighton Buzzards man of the match was Hollie Joyce.
