The ladies went to play Stevenage 2's for their first away league game. The team didn't quite perform to their full potential from the off. It has always been a difficult fixture and the squad haven't yet come up with an answer to the oppositions physical play.
Stevenage scored first but LBHC 1st XI showed great determination and put away a chance at a short corner. Gabbie has her stick in the right place and the ball hit the back of the net. So 1-1 at half time.
Rachel O'Connor dived around making some valuable saves and really helped the girls keep in with a fighting chance, her efforts earning herself player of the match.
Unfortunately Stevenage hit another goal home and it was too late for LBHC to pull another goal out of the bag.
The team are determined to make the return fixture a different story.
