Tough game!
The Ladies 1's played top of the table - Saffron Walden and it was a titanic battle.
The opposition started off immediately putting the girls under pressure and were gifted their first goal.
LB 1's didn't let it phase them and continued to work hard, Kathy Connolly made a beautiful solo run up the line and passed a solid ball to Riley Maze Brown who put in the back of the net. The girls converted their first short corner of the game with Kathy Connolly blasting the ball from a straight strike.
It was 2-2 at half time.
Unfortunately it just wasn't a winning day for LB Ladies and Saffron Walden converted a short corner to end the game 3-2. Joint MoM to Kathy and Rachael who made some outstanding saves!
