Leighton buzzard Ladies 1s vs Berkampstead 1s

A tough game for Leighton Buzzard ladies 1s team against Berkhampstead on Saturday. After our loss last week the team was raring for a win.

Leighton started a little messy however were able to hold off Berkhampstead and then dominated the first half . Leighton battled incredible hard in the first half and was rewarded the first goal by Laura Keable. The team maintained the pressure and with a drive of getting those 3 points. Leighton continued to play some great hockey in the second half and had a few near chances to score however missed them. Leighton then were rewarded a penalty flick, taken by Hollie Taylor gaining us another goal. Leighton carried on mouting the pressure on Berkampstead and where able to win another penalty flick which Clare Fitzboydon bravely stepped up to take Unforunently Berkampsteads keeper managed to save the flick from this but LB still carried on playing hard for the final 15 minutes of the match.
