Leighton Buzzard Ladies 1st Team vs Thurrock 1st Team

Leighton Ladies 1s made a strong start to the game. Karmel Brazier made a lovely pass across the D for Gemma Jones to nicely tap in putting them 1-0 up. Leighton stayed on top of their game with some great passes down the line from Laura Keable. We secured our second goal by a great finish from Karmel Brazier to put them 2-0 up at half time.

Leighton started the second half off strong but allowed for Thurrock to take their chances however Jo Wells made some excellent saves off the line. Leighton’s defensive game was strong and played some excellent passes through midfield. Charlie Bracken and Riley Maze Brown were able to secure three more goals finishing the game off 5-0.
