Leighton Buzzard Ladies 1st Team vs Blueharts 1st Team

Leighton Buzzard ladies 1s had high hopes going into todays game with their previous 5-0 win, everyone was eagar to play. However they knew it was going to be a tough game with Bluehearts coming down from the league above.

Bluehearts started off really strong being the home team. Leighton held blue hearts in defence for a good 15 minutes without a breather. Asta made some brilliant saves keeping Leighton in the game. However, Bluehearts maintained the pressure and scored with a lucky break on goal. Half time finished at 1-0 to Bluehearts.

Leighton Buzzard started the second half really strong with a bold attack by karmel, which the Bluehearts keeper managed to save. Leighton Buzzard had a number of attacking short corners but struggled to find back board with Bluehearts strong defence. As the game went on Bluehearts ramped up the pressure and managed to score a two goals from two quick attacks. Leighton Buzzard continued to battle and didn't give up, the better team one in the end.
