Leighton Buzzard Ladies 1st Team vs Bishops Stortford 2nd Team

Leighton ladies 1s had a dominating start to the game as Karmel Braizer scored a cracking reverse stick goal early on giving the team a 1-0 lead over Bishop Stortford.

Leighton added to their lead when Gabbie Avola did an amazing conversion of a short corner as left slip. Leighton fought hard to keep control of the ball in their half of the pitch until half time.

Bishop Stortford had a strong start to the second half, managing to score two goals. Leighton continued to play well with some excellent passing and powerful tackles. Unfortunately for Leighton, Bishop Stortford scored their final goal from a much debated short corner.
