Leighton Buzzard Ladies 1st Team vs Aylesbury 1s

On a lovely warm sunny Saturday Leighton Buzzard Ladies 1s lined up for their 3rd game of the season against Aylesbury. Leighton started off strong with good passes down both the left and the right allowing us to be attacking. Defensively we still had to stay on the ball from the counter attacks from Aylesbury including Charlotte Ashton making a save on the line from a short corner to keep the clean sheet. Karmel Brazier scored two brilliant goals including a lovely run from 23 and a reverse sweep to put us 2-0 at half time.

We started off the second half again very well and continued the attacking mentality. Defensively we stayed composed and as a unit, defending a few short corners and Amber making some good saves although having very little to do throughout the game. Gabbie Avola got the ladies a further 2 goals including a short corner just as the final whistle went and sending an absolute rocket into the goal.
