With Covid continuing to impact availability LB started the game once again with players stepping into different positions. With the match held at 0 - 0, a head injury forced even more changes. However, the team again stepped up to the challenge and battled hard with both sides creating but with both defences playing well and keeping it goalless at halftime.
LB started the second half determined to take advantage of their opportunities. With the defence led by player of the match Megan Claggett and close contender Laura Keable keeping all doors closed for Maidenhead, a quick breakaway saw the deadlock broken by Charlotte Dashwood.
With Maidenhead getting continually frustrated by play and umpiring decisions, they eventually saw themselves earn a green card. LB capitalised as Gabbie Avola smashed a penalty corner perfectly into the corner gap.
Maidenhead did try to rally at the end, but again Asta made some good saves to protect the LB clean sheet and was supported by the rest of the team continuing to hustle all the way to the final whistle.
