Leighton Buzzard 2s vs West Herts 2s

Leighton Buzzard ladies 2s started the game strong. With most of the possession they strived for a goal. West Herts has a quick counter attack allowing them to score an early goal. Leighton fought back hard, having chance after chance on goal, until finally Sarah Ayres leveled the score to 1-1. Leighton continued to put the pressure having several chances on goal but not quite finding the back of the net, meaning the first half ending 1-1. The ladies 2s came out strong putting west herts under pressure when finally and great pass from Clare Farrow allowed Sharon Avola to score a beautiful goal and put Leighton ahead. West Herts never gave up putting Leighton under pressure, when finally they found the equalizer. Leighton continue to battle hard to find the win, but unfortunately it wasn’t there day. The final score being 2-2. POM went to Llinos Coleman for her continued running and strong defence.
